• At least one year of clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance.

• Maintain all medical records in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Prepare admission packets and establish medical files.
• File clinical documentation daily to maintain open charts.
• Monitor and audit records for completeness and accuracy.
• Process, transfer, and discharge records.

Position Details:

• Full-time - 40 hours per week
• Must have weekend availability and be on the on-call rotation

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all medical records in designated area in accordance with policies and procedures
• Prepare admission packets and establish medical files
• File clinical documentation daily to maintain open charts
• Monitor and audit records for completeness and accuracy at scheduled intervals
• Process, transfer, and discharge records; maintain records on discharged residents, including bereavement files if applicable
• Prepare reports as directed and notify leadership of documentation deficiencies

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed as a QMA or LPN
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• At least one year of clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting
• Ability to maintain regular attendance
