PACS Group is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records/Health Information Clerk in Saint Petersburg, FL to maintain resident medical records and health information systems in line with federal and state guidelines and facility privacy policies.

Hourly pay ranges from $18 to $20, with a scheduled 10:00am-4:00pm shift. The role involves organizing the records department, indexing, filing, and supporting the MDS/consultants while ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Typing 45 words per minute and dictation equipment usage.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and records procedures preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Receive work schedule and follow policies.
• Organize and direct the medical records department per policies.
• Maintain and file resident charts and records.
• Index and retrieve records manually or electronically.
• Ensure records do not leave the department without authorization.
• Assist in scheduling assessments and coding as required.
