Job summary

Staffmark Group in Knoxville, TN is hiring a Chart Swap Representative to process medical records requests, verify HIPAA compliance, and maintain confidential patient information. This role offers $15.00 per hour, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and a professional work environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and experience with data entry, records management, and office software. Training and benefits provided by Staffmark.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in medical records or healthcare administration preferred.
• HIPAA regulations knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for attorney records, LOAs, billing records, affidavits, subpoenas, and balance verifications.
• Review all requests to ensure HIPAA compliance before processing.
• Verify patient information using internal systems prior to completing record requests.
• Process subpoenas and shipment-pending requests daily while prioritizing other requests by receipt or dates.
• Communicate with attorneys and legal assistants about missing information or requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidential handling of sensitive healthcare information.
• Perform additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
