Responsibilities

• Process paper medical records by reviewing documentation for approval into the legal medical record.
• Perform scanning, quality checking and validating functions.
• Maintain the electronic medical record with audits to verify patient information.
• Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
• No patient care assignment.
• Review information to ensure approved format per policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and meet legal requirements for medical records.
• Create and maintain daily records of work performed.
• Respond to service or special requests and resolve customer issues timely.
• Develop and participate in educational programs to enhance professional growth.
