Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process paper medical records by reviewing documentation to ensure it is approved for inclusion in the legal medical record.
• Perform scanning, quality checking and validating functions.
• Maintain the electronic medical record by performing audits of medical records to ensure verification of correct patient information.
• Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
• No patient care assignment.
• Review information contained in documentation to ensure it is approved format.
• Create and maintain daily records of work performed.
• Develop, oversee and conduct audits to maintain integrity of programs.
