Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical record documentation review or coding or auditing.
• CPC or CCS-P certification required.
• Experience with ICD codes required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Audit and abstract medical records to identify and submit ICD codes for CMS risk adjustment.
• Support coding judgment using industry-standard evidence and tools.
• Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance with CMS, OIG, and other guidance.
• Meet strict timelines and deadlines for project delivery.
• Conduct self-process audits to ensure policy compliance.
