Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a detail oriented Medical Records Auditor to review and abstract records, identify ICD codes, and submit them for CMS risk adjustment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will work with providers and vendors, meet deadlines, and support coding decisions with industry guidelines. A CPC or CCS-P certification and at least one year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in medical record documentation review, diagnosis coding, or auditing.
• CPC or CCS-P certification required.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and coding applications.
• Experience with ICD codes required.

Responsibilities

• Audit and abstract medical records to identify ICD codes for CMS risk adjustment.
• Ensure codes are accurate and supported by clinical documentation; meet timelines.
