CVS Health is seeking an experienced medical records auditor to abstract and code diagnoses for CMS risk adjustment. You will verify accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations, reviewing provider and vendor records.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of related experience, CPC/CCS-P certification, and strong proficiency with ICD coding and Microsoft Office. This is a full-time position in the United States, PA region, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent experience in medical record documentation review, diagnosis coding, and/or auditing.
• CPC or CCS-P certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and coding applications.
• Experience with ICD coding is required.

Responsabilités

• Audit and abstract medical records to submit accurate CMS ICD codes for risk adjustment.
• Support coding judgment using industry standard evidence and tools.
• Ensure codes are accurate, compliant and supported by documentation.
• Identify active vs historical conditions and maintain timelines.
• Perform self-audits to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
