PACS is seeking a dedicated Medical Records/Health Information Assistant at our Poway location to help record and maintain medical and administrative information in accordance with current standards. You will transcribe physician orders, maintain census rosters, process resident charges, and support the Nurse Supervisor in daily duties.

The role focuses on accurate charting, timely communication with nursing staff, and adherence to confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices is helpful.

Aufgaben

• Record medical and administrative information per charting policies.
• Maintain the Daily Census Report and roster of residents.
• Fill out resident charge slips and submit to Business Office.
• Transcribe physicians’ orders to care plans and treatment plans.
• Notify next-of-kin when there is a change in resident condition.
• Attend facility meetings as required.
• Assist in developing work assignments and schedules.
