Glasgow LMC Ltd. is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to cover a 12-month maternity leave in a busy practice. The successful candidate will be cheerful, efficient and enthusiastic, with the ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure, and think on their feet.

Experience in a reception environment is essential. Proficiency with IT and familiarity with EMIS and DOCMAN systems is desirable, along with touch or audio typing.

Responsabilidades

• Greeting patients and visitors in person or via the telephone.
• Receiving, assisting and directing patients to the appropriate service or healthcare professional.
• Dealing with administrative queries and requests from patients/clinicians.
• Arranging appointments via our clinical software.
• Giving test results/messages to patients.
• Dealing with prescription requests and patient registrations.
• Ensuring patient details are up to date.
