Join to apply for the Medical Receptionist - Primary Care role at Trinity Health.

Position Purpose: The Business Services Representative is responsible for ensuring patient flow within the practice by performing all business functions such as greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, patient registration, insurance verification, copay and point of service collections, pre-certifications, prior authorizations, referrals, chart prep, managing incoming and outgoing faxes, and providing clerical support to providers and staff.

Shift: Day Shift

Description: This position supports an outpatient Primary Care specialty office. Responsibilities include greeting and communicating with patients in a courteous manner, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and other administrative duties.

What You Will Do:

  1. Greet and communicate with patients courteously via phone or in person.
  2. Answer telephones promptly and professionally, transferring calls appropriately.
  3. Schedule patient appointments to maximize provider productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a medical office or billing preferred; knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office; accuracy and dependability are required.
