MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is the state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and the only pediatric hospital in Washington's South Sound Region dedicated to a comprehensive network of health services for children and adolescents. Locations: This position will support our Mary Bridge Pediatric Outreach, Specialty, Urgent Care, and Primary Care Clinics, primarily in Pierce, King, and Thurston Counties.
FTE: 0.01, Shift: Day, Schedule: Clinic Hours - on call
The Medical Receptionist is the first in-person point of contact for patients on behalf of the medical practice. They are responsible for all front office duties assigned by a clinic, including greeting patients, answering phones, assisting families, scheduling, registration, charge entry, payment posting, batch balancing, cash reconciliation, and operating basic office equipment. This is an intermediate position requiring excellent customer service skills, discretion, good judgment, a professional manner, and an articulate phone voice. Internal and external contacts include patients, families, co-workers, physicians, and the general public.

The pay scale ranges from $20.07 to $28.87 USD, influenced by factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and education. If unionized, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale based on experience.
