Job summary

Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking a Medical Receptionist for the MIND-Neurology department in the Dodson Medical Office Building. The role supports patient flow, scheduling, registration, billing, and payment collection with a focus on excellent communication in a dynamic clinic environment.

This position is full-time on its First Shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm), 40 hours per week. Strong customer service and EPIC software experience are valued, with the company offering equal

Qualifications

• Greet patients and establish a friendly intake and checkout encounter.

The receptionist is responsible for maintaining patient flow, answering phones promptly and courteously, scheduling, registering, billing and payment collection activities for clinic patients while following all applicable policies and procedures. They will successfully learn and understand diversified insurance plans and medical terminology.
