Medical Assistant/Receptionist/Clinical Assistant

Busy and growing OB/GYN practice in Rockwall, TX seeks a full-time Medical Assistant/Receptionist/Clinical Assistant to join our staff.

We are looking for someone with a great attitude and strong work ethic. We seek a team member who is very detail-oriented, strong at multi-tasking and dedicated to high-quality care delivery. This is a stellar opportunity with plenty of room for professional growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Appointment scheduling and pre-visit planning
• Responding to requests for medical records
• Making and responding to patient emails, phone calls & messages
• Managing physician’s schedule, including surgeries, clinic, administrative meetings and meetings with industry representatives
• Collaborate with other practices to streamline patient care
• Ensuring that the reception and patient care areas are well-kept and orderly
• Assist providers with patient exams, specimen handling, and testing

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent - required
• Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse degree - highly desirable, but not required
• OB/GYN office or hospital work experience - highly desirable, but not required
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and telephone) with a friendly and professional demeanor - required
• On-going self-learning and improvement with self-directed task completion - required
• Dependability and commitment - required
• Ability to work well in a diverse team environment - required
• Reliable transportation and attendance – required
• Willing to be flexible in duties, including performance of medical assistance periodically - required
• Flexibility to work past scheduled shift times to accommodate excellent patient care - required

POSITION OFFERS:

• Full-Time Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Starting wage of $15/hr, more with commensurate Ob/Gyn experience
