Job Title:

Certified Medical Assistant & Patient Liaison (Remote, Part-Time — PST or MST Required)

Remote – Must be based in Pacific or Mountain time zones (PST or MST). Geographic flexibility available within these zones.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Approximately 20 hours per week (schedule is flexible)
  • Pay range: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

We are hiring a part-timeCertified Medical Assistant (CMA)to serve as both a clinical and administrative support professional. This dual-role position involves coordinating care across patients, providers, pharmacies, and community organizations to ensure seamless communication and high-quality service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Patient Communication:Act as a first-line responder for patient questions; provide clear, empathetic education and assistance.
  • Medication Support:Coordinate prescription management, liaising between prescribers, pharmacies, and patients to streamline refill and adjustment processes.
  • Provider Assistance:Help prepare patient documentation and manage follow-up tasks, such as appointment scheduling and treatment plan updates.
  • Referral Coordination:Facilitate outreach and connections with external community agencies and providers to support patients with additional resources.
  • Electronic Recordkeeping:Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient data in our electronic health records platform (Charm EHR).
  • Administrative Duties:Support day-to-day operations through calendar management, chart maintenance, and communication tracking.

Candidate Profile

  • Certification:CMA credential required
  • Preferred Experience:At least 1 year in a clinical or healthcare support role
  • Technical Skills:Comfort using Google Workspace, email systems, calendars, and electronic health records (especially Charm)
  • Personal Qualities:Organized, compassionate, self-motivated, and capable of independent work in a HIPAA-compliant remote setting
  • Equipment:Must have access to a reliable computer and phone setup
