Job summary

ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers seeks a Medical Receptionist in Eldersburg, MD. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, manage phone calls, collect payments, and support office operations in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and experience with medical office software is a plus. Flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred Medical Administrative Assistant certification.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, verify demographics and insurance information.
• Answer calls, take messages, and redirect as needed.
• Collect patient payments and manage transactions.
• Assist with faxes, emails, and general office organization.
• Maintain a clean, professional waiting area and office environment.
• Assist with scheduling flexibility including weekends and holidays.
