ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to handle front-desk duties, patient check-in, and insurance verification. The role requires strong communication, professionalism, and familiarity with medical software.

The position involves high customer service standards and a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year in customer service (medical setting preferred), and the ability to work long shifts

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Administrative Assistant certification is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Experience with medical office software is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to comply with travel policy.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and maintain EMR records.
• Answer calls, record messages, and redirect calls as needed.
• Collect patient payments and manage transactions.
• Assist with faxes, emails, and general office organization.
• Maintain a clean, professional environment and welcoming waiting area.
