Action Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist for our busy outpatient orthopedic clinic in Bellaire. You will greet patients, answer phones, manage electronic scheduling, and handle data entry with a focus on accuracy and excellent customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of medical front office experience, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Flexibility with hours and strong organizational skills are a must.

Job Description

Action Physical Therapy has an immediate opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team in our fun and energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic in Bellaire.

Job Duties:

• Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service
• Answer phones
• Electronic scheduling
• Data entry
• Verify current personal and financial information
• Maintain patient charts and electronic medical records
• Verify insurance benefits
• Collect, post, and deposit patient payments
• Fax, file, and perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 1+ years of previous medical front office experience
• Excellent telephone skills
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Previous experience with medical software preferred
