Job summary

Live to Move Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a friendly medical receptionist to join our team at the Manvel/Pearland border clinic. You will support daily office operations and serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors.

The ideal candidate communicates compassionately, has attention to detail, and can manage scheduling, payments, and basic insurance verification while maintaining patient privacy. This role is Full-time and on-site, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Compassion and ability to communicate delicate matters like cost to patients in pain.
• Positive, high-energy attitude.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with office equipment (printers, fax, scanner).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel and Office).
• Proficient in internet-based computer programs in general.

Responsibilities

• Field inbound communications - Answer phone calls/general email inquiries.
• Liaise with patients and visitors - Act as point of contact for entrants.
• Insurance verification - Use online services and/or phone to verify patient benefits.
• Charting information - Enter and maintain patient chart information while protecting privacy.
• Scheduling - Set up and maintain patient schedules including waitlists to fill cancellations.
• Payments - Explain and collect payments using a point-of-sale device.

Live to Move Physical Therapy & Wellness is looking for a medical receptionist to join our team at our only clinic on the border of Manvel and Pearland. This person will work to support the daily operations of the office.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate compassionately and clearly in both written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities:

• Field inbound communications - Answer phone calls/general email inquiries.
• Liaise with patients & visitors - Act as point person for whomever enters the clinic.
• Insurance verification - Use online services and/or phone communication to verify patient benefits.
• Charting information - Accurately enter and maintain patient chart information while maintaining patient privacy
• Scheduling - Set up and maintain patient's schedules including use of waitlist to fill cancelations
• Payments - Explain and collect payments; use of point-of-sale device
