Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will process patient information, manage appointments, and communicate effectively with patients. Overview

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1978, dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, with a focus on serving Latinos in Washington State. Responsibilities

• Process patient information and manage medical appointments.
• Contact patients via phone on behalf of Sea Mar and take messages as needed.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and communicate efficiently with patients while being sensitive to their needs.
• Maintain a high level of work ethic and professionalism; multi-task and use basic office software proficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel; general typing skills required.
• Excellent verbal, customer service, and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Availability to work on Saturdays.
