An innovative staffing company is seeking a Content Management Specialist to enhance eCommerce sales through meticulous product content management. In this role, you will gather product attributes, create engaging descriptions, and manage digital assets to ensure quality and consistency across channels. The Content Management Specialist is responsible for executing product content tasks, including classification, description, and digital asset management to support eCommerce sales channels. This role also assists in maintaining distributor catalogs and ensuring the quality and consistency of product data.
This role will be remote after an initial 2-3 week training, must be able to commute to the office for this training.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Descriptions
Assist in gathering product attributes and developing comprehensive descriptions for new items using established templates.
Assign data values to the appropriate product fields.
Ensure new product listings comply with category standards and guidelines.
Digital Asset Management
Collect and upload product images for new items.
Gather and manage supporting digital assets and documentation for product listings.
Collaborate with Supplier Partners and Product Category Managers to compile product specifications, overviews, and related items for the Product Information Management (PIM) system.
Load product details into the Digital Asset Manager.
Maintain consistency and adherence to content standards across all product categories.
Monitor and update product information regularly.
Task Management
Identify and correct inaccurate or low-quality product descriptions and images.
Resolve issues flagged by system-generated quality reviews.
Respond promptly to internal communications and maintain item notes as directed by the Product Category Team.
Perform routine catalog maintenance on the website.
Manage catalog-related inquiries and help requests via the team mailbox.
Additional Duties
Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Collaborate with the Manager of Core Data Management to improve content management tools and processes.
Required Knowledge & Skills :
Familiarity with AS400 / JD Edwards (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong time management and prioritization abilities
Customer service-oriented mindset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
Comfortable working in a team environment
Skilled at multi-tasking and working under pressure

Minimum Work Experience :
Typically, 3 or more years of related experience
Preferred Education :
High school diploma, vocational training, or on-the-job training required
