Endeavor Health in Warrenville, IL is hiring an Insurance Pre-Authorization Representative to join our dedicated care team. This full-time role (36 hours per week) operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or on-call duties.

You will prepare referrals, FMLA/disability forms, and pre-authorizations according to payer criteria, ensuring timely responses and revenue integrity while protecting patient confidentiality. Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred
• 1 year of experience in a medical office setting
• 1 year of Epic experience
• Strong customer service focus
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality
• High level understanding of FMLA/Disability laws and processes
• Medical terminology
• Bilingual

Responsibilities

• Prepare referrals, FMLA, and disability forms per payer criteria for designated providers.
• Create pre-authorizations and forms per guidelines to secure timely approvals and revenue.
• Prioritize referrals based on medical necessity and urgency.
• Communicate status of authorizations to patients and clinicians.
• Address tasks, calls, voicemail, and emails within established timeframes.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff, including outside offices, for information.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospital departments and health plans; provide high service.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
