Job summary

Intermountain Health in Utah is seeking an ABR-certified or board-eligible Medical Physicist to join a growing Radiation Oncology program with three facilities. You will partner with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, therapists, and other physicists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered treatment across Logan, Ogden, and Layton sites.

The role includes calibration, QA, treatment planning, and regulatory compliance, with occasional travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution.
• ABR or Canadian board certification in Radiation Oncology Physics or equivalent.
• State licensure as required by practice location.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and QA radiation therapy equipment per AAPM standards.
• Coordinate with RSO on brachytherapy procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Lead treatment planning and beam shaping collaboration with clinicians.
• Provide clinical physics services and advise on treatment plans.
• Oversee licensing, equipment procurement, and QA reporting.
• Rotate between facilities to ensure coverage and high-quality care.
