Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Oversees calibration of radiation therapy equipment per AAPM and state/federal standards.
• Performs calibrations and quality control on therapeutic machines.
• Coordinates treatment planning with physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists.
• Manages NRC/state licenses for brachytherapy sources with the RSO.
• Coordinates rotations across facilities and participates in QA and quality improvement.
