Job summary

The US Oncology Network's Texas Oncology group in San Marcos, TX seeks a Certified Medical Physicist to join a 16-physicist team covering nine facilities, with primary coverage for the San Marcos Cancer Center and collaboration across the Central Texas region.

You will perform QA, treatment planning for stereotactic programs, maintain ABR licensure, and work with a multidisciplinary team including dosimetrists, residents, and therapists in a flexible schedule with occasional remote coverage.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP accredited program.
• Graduate from a CAMPEP accredited residency program.
• ABR board certification or in the process of obtaining certification.
• Eligibility for a Texas license and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of radiation oncology physics and QA.
• Oversee stereotactic program planning and HDR duties.
• Collaborate with nearby clinics for cross coverage.
• Maintain RSO duties and licensure compliance.
• Support ABR certification maintenance and education.
