Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO is seeking a full-time Medical Physicist to support clinical operations across UCHealth facilities in the Denver metro area. The role involves clinical physics support, QA, teaching, and research in a dynamic radiation oncology division.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in radiotherapy, IMRT/IGRT, and treatment planning, with collaboration across teams and an emphasis on patient safety and innovation.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Medical Physics, Physics, Engineering, or related field + Board eligibility
• Senior Instructor: Master’s + Board certification + 5 yrs clinical experience
• Assistant Professor: DMP/PhD + Board eligibility + 2 yrs clinical experience
• Associate Professor: PhD + Board certification + 5 yrs clinical experience + 2 yrs teaching
• Experience in clinical radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT, treatment planning, functional imaging

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical physics support and QA for routine and special procedures: VMAT/IMRT, IGRT, SRS/SBRT, HDR/LDR, TBI/TSI, SGRT
• Linear Accelerator, CT-Sim, HDR, and Treatment Planning QA
• Participate in teaching and research
