APPS Paramedical Services is the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced health examination and information provider. Our network of health professionals conducts physical examinations, testing (venipunctures, EKG, etc), and personal health interviews. We serve the leading providers in the life insurance industry (such as New York Life, Primerica, Principal, Northwestern Mutual) by providing physical examinations and testing for policy underwriting.

We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented healthcare professionals (Critical care paramedics, RNs, LPNs, Certified MAs, Phlebotomists, EMTs & non-CC Paramedics) who are currently or previously certified or licensed, to work flexible schedules, part- or full-time.

Compensation can be up to $50.00 per hour, depending on the case requirements.

This is a 1099G (Independent Contractor) position, which does not include benefits like health, SDI, or vision insurance.

Responsibilities may include:

• Performing mobile paramedical healthcare exams (health history, vitals, specimen collection such as blood and urine).
• Non-interpretive ECG tracings; ECG machines are not required to be owned by the examiner.
• Self-scheduling your caseload; APPS assigns cases, and you accept or decline them.
• Maintaining strong communication with the regional office regarding case status, issues, or conflicts.
• Exhibiting professional conduct at all times, representing the healthcare industry and the company.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure is not required; certification/licensure or relevant experience (e.g., RN, LPN, Med Tech, MA, Phlebotomist, EMT/Paramedic) is necessary.
• At least one year of recent phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 successful blood draws, along with a valid driver’s license, transportation, and insurance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff.
• Must have a computer (laptop with camera or tablet) and a mobile phone.
