$25.00/hr - $50.00/hr

WORK FROM HOME APPS Paramedical Services - Iowa - is the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced health examination and information provider. Our network of health professionals conducts physical examinations, testing (venipunctures, EKG's etc.), and personal health interviews.

We serve the life insurance industry's leading providers (New York Life, Primerica, Principal, Northwestern Mutual etc.) by being the partner company providing physical examination, invasive and non-invasive testing required for their policies to be underwritten.

Responsibilities

• Performing mobile paramedical healthcare exams (health history, vitals, obtain and complete specimens: blood, urine, etc.)
• Conducting non-interpretive ECG tracings (ECG machines are not the examiner's responsibility to own)
• Self-scheduling your caseload; APPS sends you the case, which you can accept or decline
• Maintaining strong communication with the regional office's staff regarding case status or any issues
• Exhibiting professional conduct to represent the healthcare industry and the company

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certificate of medical training is NOT REQUIRED (e.g., RN, LPN, Med Tech, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, EMT/Paramedics)
• Previous certification/licensure or commensurate experience is required
• One year of recent phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 successful draws
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation with valid insurance
• Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills
• Interpersonal skills to interface extensively with clients, management, and office staff
• High level of courtesy, tact, and professionalism
• Access to a computer (preferably a laptop with camera or a tablet) and a mobile phone
