Job summary

CBCS, a division of Cottingham & Butler, is growing its Workers’ Compensation team and seeking Claims Administrators to help review and manage medical-only claims from start to finish. No insurance experience required; we provide training and value dependable, eager individuals who communicate well, organize workflow, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Prior claims or insurance experience is a plus but not required.
• We provide training on the technical aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of medical-only Workers’ Compensation claims from start to finish.
• Review and evaluate claims to understand what occurred.
• Communicate with injured workers, medical providers, and clients.
• Document claim activity accurately following CBCS Best Practices.
• Identify when a claim should be upgraded for further investigation or lost-time consideration.
