CBCS, a division of Cottingham & Butler, is growing its Workers’ Compensation team and inviting you to become a Claims Administrator in Dubuque, IA. This role offers in-training pathways in a professional office environment with clear paths for career development.

You will review medical-only claims, communicate with injured workers, providers, and clients, and learn CBCS processes to resolve claims efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional setting is preferred.
• Prior claims or insurance experience is a plus but not required.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of medical-only workers' compensation claims from start to finish.
• Communicate with injured workers, medical providers, and clients.
• Document claim activity accurately following CBCS Best Practices.
• Make timely decisions within authority to resolve claims efficiently.
• Submit required state EDI filings and Medicare compliance support.
• Identify when a claim should be upgraded for further investigation or lost-time.
• Evaluate subrogation opportunities and escalate appropriately.
• Meet performance benchmarks for contact, reserving, and closure.
