Job summary

MedVet seeks a skilled Medical Oncology Veterinary Technician to join their growing team. This role involves administering chemotherapy, managing client communication, scheduling appointments, and maintaining meticulous documentation.

Prior veterinary experience is essential, as well as strong venipuncture skills. Our technicians develop strong bonds with patients and clients, requiring compassion and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred.
• Prior veterinary experience required, previous oncology experience desired.
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, infusions, conversions).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administration of chemotherapy requiring excellent venipuncture skills.
• Coordinate and manage client communication via phone and email.
• Manage appointments and schedule additional appointments.
• Accurate and thorough documentation in medical records.

We are looking for: Medical Oncology Veterinary Technician

Have you lost a loved pet to cancer and have a heart to help others avoid the same heartache? This team develops strong bonds with our patients and clients, requiring compassion and excellent patient care.Our Medical Oncology technicians will develop excellent venipuncture skills, have high attention to detail and will gain experience in chemotherapy treatments.

• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
