Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join the Cancer Center at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. You will collaborate with a team of medical and radiation oncologists and APPs to deliver high-quality cancer care.

The role emphasizes Breast Cancer treatment within a supportive system that includes a strong benefits package, relocation and sign-on incentives, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or ability to obtain one.
• BLS certification and DEA.
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing process.
• Visa sponsorship not available at this time.

Responsibilities

• Primary focus on Breast Cancer care within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Work with 4 other Medical Oncologists, 3 Radiation Oncologists, and APPs.
• Clinic hours 8 am–5 pm, four days a week with one admin day.
• On-call responsibility one in five weeks.

About this role:

As a Medical Oncologist you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You'll work at St. Mary’s Regional hospital’s Cancer Center, where you will work alongside 4 other Medical Oncologist 3 Radiation Oncologists and Advanced Practice Providers

• Competitive Compensation: $600,000 plus the potential to earn more with a production incentive
• This position includes a$75,000sign-on bonus, up to $20,000in relocation assistance, residency stipend $36,000 and$100,000in student loan repayment when applicable
• Your clinic hours will be 8 am – 5 pm four days a week with one admin day
• You’ll be on call one in five weeks

• Your practice will me mainly focused on Breast Cancer

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology / Oncology

• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one

• BLS certification and DEA

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
