Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking an experienced scheduling coordinator to manage patient registrations and appointments across outpatient services. You will collaborate with registration and ancillary teams to ensure accurate information capture and smooth throughput of visits.

Responsibilities include scheduling for multiple departments, communicating with physician offices about non-covered services, and expediting precertification processes to support timely patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv is required.
• Knowledge of basic office equipment (copier, fax, calculator) is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the registration and scheduling process for patients.
• Communicates with registration and ancillary departments to ensure accurate capture and throughput of outpatient appointments.
• Schedules patient appointments for ancillary departments and ensures all required information is recorded.
• Notifies physician offices of possible non-covered appointments and facilitates precertification.
