The role requires at least two years in healthcare and one year scheduling or verification; call center experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the healthcare field is required.
• Previous call center experience is preferred.
• Minimum one year in scheduling or insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Schedules in-office procedures within department timelines.
• Updates patient demographics and insurance eligibility; handles authorizations.
• Communicates with patients regarding authorization, financial counseling, and scheduling.
• Responds to patient questions and complaints, maintaining high satisfaction.
• Communicates clinical instructions for appointments/procedures.
• Answers calls, triages, and relays messages to staff.
• Cancels ancillary appointments and informs stakeholders.
• Keeps patient data in the EMR and practice management system accurate.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and data security.
