Job summary

GI Alliance in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Scheduler I to manage patient scheduling for office visits and procedures. You will coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure timely appointments and accurate chart preparation in the EMR.

The role requires excellent communication, ability to handle high call volumes, and basic understanding of healthcare plans. Previous medical scheduling experience is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of medical scheduling experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for office visits and procedures.
• Maintain physicians' schedules and coordinate radiology/lab appointments.
• Take triage call messages for medical staff.
• View patient visit notes, identify problems & diagnosis listed and physician orders.
• Assist in patient registration and financial transactions.
• Check-in and check-out patients; collect payments.
• File and scan patient charts in EMR; prepare charts in advance.
