Job summary

Kayne Anderson Real Estate seeks an Asset Management Associate to join the medical office team in Boca Raton to oversee one of the largest medical office portfolios in the country.

The role requires a finance or real estate background with strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and team collaboration. Argus knowledge preferred; you will prepare business plans, operate budgets, investor reporting, and data analysis, coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, real estate or similar field.
• 3-7 years related financial experience with strong analytical skills.
• Commercial real estate experience preferred.
• Excel proficiency to create and manipulate complex files and analyses.
• Excellent communication, organizational, financial and time-management skills.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative skills.
• Self-starter who can handle multiple tasks and work independently.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relations in a team environment.
• Experience using Argus Intelligence and Argus Enterprise is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Asset Management Team with regular oversight of medical office portfolio.
• Review reports on leasing, occupancy, and trends; follow up on notes.
• Assist in preparing and presenting annual business plans.
• Prepare quarterly updates on financial and operational performance; explain variances.
• Coordinate with other departments and provide property-level data to investors and lenders.
• Participate in annual operating and capital expenditure budgeting.
• Assist in transition of properties from Acquisitions to Asset Management.
• Review lease terms and capex requests; review monthly P&L and operating reports.
• Review quarterly valuations including internal and third-party appraisals.
• Audit acquisition models, rent rolls, and Argus files for data integrity.
• Monitor loan performance for compliance and risk.
