Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience as a phone operator or front desk role preferred; cross-training for receptionist duties.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
• Familiarity with phone systems and EMR systems.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming phone calls, answering questions, transferring calls to the appropriate places, and taking messages as needed.
• Rescheduling appointments for providers as needed.
• Assisting patients with inquiries and providing information about the medical office.
• Creating clinic patient folders daily for the next day.
• Scanning documents and filing them correctly in patient charts.
• Providing excellent customer services while answering incoming calls.
• Keep notes on important callers and information.
