Job summary

MedStar Health in Annapolis is seeking a seasoned office operations leader to plan, manage and coordinate patient care activities across the medical office. You will implement policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and support daily operations to maintain high-quality care.

In this role you will supervise staff, optimize scheduling and staffing, oversee revenue cycle activities, and collaborate with clinicians and administration to meet budget targets and service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or
• Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or related field preferred and
• Courses in medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

• Contributes to department goals while adhering to policies and quality/safety standards.
• Oversees daily medical office operations and maintains patient access to care.
• Maintains professional relationships within the practice and with the health system.
• Coordinates provider schedules and ensures appropriate staffing and patient flow.
• Monitors patient satisfaction and implements service recovery as needed.
• Ensures compliance with environmental and regulatory policies for office operations.
• Manages budget processes, monthly reporting, and revenue cycle activities.
• Supervises non-provider staff and supports staff development and training.
• Oversees recruitment, onboarding, and personnel files; supports staff engagement.
