Job summary

Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking a Part Time Receptionist in the Wall office location to greet patients, verify demographics, handle calls, and manage registrations. The role supports a growing outpatient radiology practice with a focus on patient confidentiality and excellent service.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Scheduling, payments, and chart preparation are key duties, with ongoing patient support

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service practices expected.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a medical office or hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and sign them in.
• Verify demographic information and insurance documents.
• Answer calls and route to appropriate staff.
• Provide patients with history forms and policy documents.
• Explain forms and obtain signatures as needed.
• Prepare patient charts for registration.
• Gather and prepare records for release.
• Process payments for out-of-pocket costs and copays.
• Schedule appointments per guidelines.
• Provide preparation instructions for tests.
• Offer support and build patient confidence and satisfaction.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Liaise between patients and clinical team to enhance care.
• Keep reception and waiting areas neat and orderly.
• Complete duties in a timely manner.
• Perform other assigned duties.
