Job summary

Gastro Health is seeking a Full-Time Floater to join our team. The role offers a great work/life balance with Monday through Friday shifts, no weekends or evenings, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The duties include front desk tasks, medical assisting, care coordination, and daily chart/documentation work within the EMR system. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 2 years of MA experience; bilingual skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years experience as a medical assistant or similar setting (AAMA certification preferred).
• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (Preferred).
• eClinicalWorks (eCW): 1 year (Preferred).
• GI Experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Scan procedure reports and assist with recalls.
• Calculate procedure costs; file documentation into EMR system.
• Front desk duties: verify referrals, insurance benefits, and collect payments.
• Medical Assistant duties: triage, enter medications, ensure chart completeness, process prescriptions.
• Care Coordinator duties: schedule procedures and obtain authorizations.
