Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Medical Office Coordinator to join our neurosurgery team. You will coordinate scheduling, front and back-office operations, and support patient flow across multiple sites to ensure exceptional service.

We value strong communication, teamwork, and leadership, with at least 2 years in a health delivery setting; high school diploma required. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with potential variation.

Qualifications

• Required High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years in a health delivery setting.
• Experience in supervisory/leadership roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate up to 10 office practice sites within BayCare Medical Group.
• Oversee scheduling, work assignments, and front/back-office activities including patient appointments and insurance billing.
• Provide training and evaluate front/back-office staff; maintain professional office atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
