  • Well polished, Professional, and well groomed appearance is a must (NO visible tattoos, facial piercings, etc.) Our office performs weight loss surgery and cosmetic surgery, therefore, appearance is important.
  • Occasional Front desk/Receptionist Duties (answering multi lines, scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out)
  • Candidate must be competent in BOTH front and back office duties with great attention to detail.
  • Verify Insurance and Obtain pre-authorizations for surgery and serve as a patient coordinator.
  • Punctual, dependable, quick learner self-starter: desire to learn required skills and take initiative in your training.
  • Room patients, document vital signs; blood pressure, height, weight, and BMI.
  • Take before/after photos of patients. *Answer phones, schedule appointments (follow up/new patient/diagnostic testing).
  • Responsible for making sure we have all patient test results for the next day clinic.
  • Order medical supplies and keep track of inventory.
  • Bi-Lingual Spanish a PLUS (will be tested on Spanish skills)
  • Social media savvy with creative ways of posting information on our platforms a PLUS
  • Preferably someone who lives in Katy Area

Skills/Qualifications:

Candidate should have excellent phone etiquette and great communication skills, both written and oral. Candidate must be able to multi task various duties, work in a high demanding environment, adapt to frequent changes, and be strong minded. Candidate must have medical office experience and experience with verifying insurance over the phone. All candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and a pre-employment national background check. We are a smoke free office. Hours are Mon-Thurs 8am to 5pm, Fridays 8am-1pm.
