Job summary

Riverside Endoscopy Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Medical Business Office Supervisor to oversee the center's business office functions, including billing, collections and financial analysis. You will supervise registration, insurance verification, AP/AR, and coordinate with the CBO to ensure accurate data and efficient cash flow.

You will lead a small team, monitor reports for operational success, adjust workflows as needed, and work with physicians on scheduling and payer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Health Care Administration desired, extensive or relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise registration, medical records, insurance verification and AP/AR/collections coordination with the CBO.
• Monitor and analyze reports and oversee the operational success of the business office.
• Supervise workflow and reassign staff according to workload.
• Evaluate registration, insurance verification and cash posting data integrity.
• Conduct staff meetings and provide guidance to strengthen the team.
• Communicate with center physicians regarding scheduling, registration and verification.
• Oversee center managed care contracts with third-party payers including Medicare and Medicaid.
