Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI, is seeking a Medical Business Associate/Specialist for Munson Medical Oncology. This full-time, day-shift in-office position offers a 40-hour week and a $2,700 sign-on bonus. Location: 1105 Sixth St, Traverse City.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The role serves as the first contact for patients and families, verifying patient and insurance information and entering data into the registration system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of Customer Service experience.
• Proficient typing and Windows with experience using multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for patients and families.
• Enter patient and insurance information into the registration system accurately.
• Schedule patient appointments including returns, referrals, and diagnostic tests.
• Greet patients professionally in person and over the phone.
