Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health in New Jersey is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support daily operations of the medical office, including scheduling, patient accounts, phone coverage, insurance verification, data entry and supply orders.

The role also supports patient care activities such as preparing patients for examinations, obtaining and recording vital signs, and performing phlebotomy as needed.

Qualifications

• Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Must have and maintain current certification or registration from an accredited institution, e.g.: AAMA, NHA, AMT.
• Bilingual preferred.
