Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health in Saddle Brook, NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide basic medical support under supervision, including vitals, chart prep, phlebotomy and lab sample collection, using department systems to enter patient data.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program, with current certification/registration (AAMA, NHA, AMT); bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Must have and maintain current certification or registration from an accredited institution (AAMA, NHA, AMT).
• Bilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic medical assistance to physicians, providers, and nurses under supervision.
• Prepare patients, assist with procedures, and collect lab samples including phlebotomy.
• Record patient data in department systems and ensure accurate chart preparation.
