Gastro One in Germantown, TN is hiring a full-time Medical Office Assistant to greet patients, manage front desk duties, and support daily clinic operations. The role requires prior front office experience and comfort with medical terminology in a fast-paced medical office.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in a front office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, assessing their needs and direct them appropriately.
• Verify and/or enter all patient demographic information in the EMR.
• Check for necessary referrals and have appropriate forms completed and signed.
• Schedule patients for office visits, procedures, and other tests.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances at time of visit.
• Maintain the front desk and reception areas.
