Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in medical office or similar setting preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and coordinate scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates medical record requests accurately and timely.
• Greets and directs patients in a friendly, welcoming way.
• Answers calls and documents interactions.
• Collects required documents (insurance cards, IDs) for encounters.
• Schedules and confirms patient appointments to reduce no-shows.
• Obtains/verifies insurance authorizations and coverage.
• Collects copays and other payments per policy.
• Processes patient referrals.
