Job summary

Orthopedic Physicians Alaska is seeking a Medical Materials Associate to ensure continuous availability of medical supplies and durable medical equipment for our physicians. You will work under the Medical Materials Manager to manage stock, verify receipts, and coordinate inbound/outbound shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent; preferred candidates may be pursuing or hold a degree in Logistics and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: degree in Logistics and Supply Chain (BBA/BS/MS) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Stock medical supply rooms with required materials.
• Verify arriving materials against packing slips and invoices.
• Schedule and track all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Interact with transportation representatives, vendors and suppliers as needed.
• Communicate problems and needs to the team lead.
• Maintain accurate information in Medical Materials Information Systems.
