The role involves managing vendor relationships, purchasing, receiving, inventory control, par levels, equipment coordination, and distribution to meet patient care and operational needs promptly and efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have strong teamwork, good communication, and experience with hospital supply

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Effective communication skills, both orally and written.
• Experience in a hospital setting; Lawson MM system experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and stock/distribute incoming orders according to departmental procedures.
• Collect, restock and return supply carts with Nursing Service Department personnel.
• Arrange and rotate items on shelves.
• Fill stock requisitions from user departments and deliver to the appropriate location.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of items outside the hospital.
• Process outbound shipping documents and returns to vendors.
• Adhere to Hospital Policies and Confidentiality; follow Safety guidelines.
• Maintain positive working relationships and support department goals.
